Red River North Dog Obedience Club, an American Kennel Club ® (AKC) licensed organization, was founded in 1999 with the intent to promote the training of all dogs - both purebred and mixed breed.
Our
club offers a variety of classes
in obedience, rally and agility. We use positive, motivational training
and reinforcement techniques. We strive to make our classes both informative
and fun for both handler and dog!
We encourage dog owners to attend training classes. Besides improving your dog's behavior, it can also improve your relationship bond.
Our club offers AKC Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) testing several times a year. The CGC program is a certificate program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. It stresses responsible pet ownership and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs, including both purebred and mixed breed dogs are welcome to participate in the AKC's Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) Program.
